Alpinestars SM7 Rise ECE06 Helmet
The SM7 helmet is engineered for off-road racing and is optimized to offer the perfect blend of superior ventilation and comfort in a lightweight helmet, while its supremely aerodynamic composite shell delivers exceptional impact protection. As well as Alpinestars patented A-Head Fitment and Visor Detaching Systems, the SM7 is equipped with innovative PLASMA technology at the lower side of the shell edge for optimum energy dissipation in case of contact with the collar bone area.
OUTER SHELL:
The SM7’s aerodynamic profile design offers a smooth, streamlined shell free of any external channels and features that might act as a load point in an impact or compromise the overall integrity of the helmets Construction. The shell’s curvature promotes reduced friction on impact, allowing deflection and the most efficient transfer of energy to protect the rider’s head from direct force to the ll and referred to the neck and spinal column.
PATENTED SYSTEM:
The SM7’s Visor Detaching System features a patented release mechanism is conceived to avoid the inherent weaknesses in other anchoring systems. The SM7’s visor is engineered to automatically detach from the shell when it is subjected to an impact energy greater than 15 Joules for optimum impact protection, regardless of the direction.
VENTILATION:
Ultra-ventilated helmet with 20 individual intake and exhaust ports, not including the eye port, with 13 intakes and 7 exhausts, for optimum ventilation.
COLLARBONE PROTECTION
PLASMA inside; Alpinestars patented PLASMA technology is strategically integrated into the SM7’s side pads for high performance shock absorption in a critical area, significantly reducing the risk of injuries.
