BMC Air Filter FM01086 For BMW

BMC performance engine air filter designed as a replacement for the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) paper filter in a wide range of older BMW R-series motorcycles.

Features:

Type: Flat panel replacement air filter.

Material: Made of a multi-layered (4 layers) cotton gauze, which is soaked with a low-viscosity oil and encased in an epoxy-coated alloy mesh to ensure durability and resistance to petrol fumes and oxidation.

Filtration Efficiency: The filter effectively traps impurities as small as 7 microns, offering a higher filtration capacity than a standard OEM paper filter (typically 10 microns).

Construction: Produced using a "Full Moulding" system that creates a single, seamless rubber frame, avoiding welded joints and potential breakage points.

Performance: Designed to increase airflow into the engine, leading to improved engine performance, throttle response, and potentially fuel efficiency.

Maintenance: The filter is washable and reusable, offering a cost-effective, long-lasting, and environmentally friendly alternative to disposable filters. It can be serviced using a BMC regeneration kit.
