BMC Air Filter FM01187 Benelli

BMC performance engine air filter designed as a replacement for the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) air filter in various Benelli 500cc and 550cc motorcycle models, including the Leoncino 500 and 502 C.

Features:

Type: Flat panel replacement air filter.

Material: Constructed with multi-layered (4 layers) cotton gauze, which is pre-oiled with a special low-viscosity oil, and protected by an epoxy-coated alloy mesh to ensure resistance to oxidation and petrol fumes.

Filtration Efficiency: Guarantees the containment of impurities as small as 7 microns, offering a higher level of filtration compared to a standard OEM paper filter (typically 10 microns). Filtration tests are conducted according to international ISO 5011 standards, achieving 98.5% efficiency.

Construction: Produced using a "Full Moulding" system that creates a single, durable part with no welded joints, preventing breakage and ensuring a perfect seal within the airbox.

Performance: Engineered to provide maximum airflow (up to 18.5% higher than conventional paper filters) and minimal pressure loss, which translates to improved engine performance, efficiency, and throttle response.

Maintenance: The filter is washable and reusable, and can be cleaned and regenerated using a specific BMC filter care kit, offering long-term economic and environmental benefits over disposable filters.
