BMC Air Filter FM270/04 Yamaha

BMC performance engine air filter designed as a replacement for the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) air filter in various Yamaha adventure and dual-sport motorcycles, including the XT 600 E and XTZ 660.

Features:

Type: Flat panel replacement air filter.

Material: Made of multi-layered (4 layers) cotton gauze, pre-oiled with a low-viscosity oil, and protected by an epoxy-coated alloy mesh to ensure resistance to fuel vapors and oxidation.

Filtration Efficiency: The filter guarantees the containment of impurities as small as 7 microns, offering a higher level of filtration and engine protection compared to a standard OEM paper filter's typical 10 microns.

Construction: Produced using a "Full Moulding" system that creates a single, durable part with no welded joints, ensuring an optimal and secure fit in the airbox.

Performance: Engineered to deliver increased airflow (reportedly up to 40% higher than conventional paper filters) with minimal pressure loss, which can improve engine efficiency, power, and throttle response.
