BMC Air Filter FM310/06 Triumph

BMC performance engine air filter designed as a replacement for the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) air filter in various Triumph motorcycle models from the early 2000s, including the Speed Triple and Daytona 955i.

Features:

Type: Unique shape (panel/cylindrical/tapered) replacement air filter.

Material: Made of multi-layered (4 layers) cotton gauze, which is pre-oiled with a low-viscosity oil and protected by an epoxy-coated alloy mesh for resistance to fuel vapors and oxidation.

Filtration Efficiency: The filter effectively captures impurities as small as 7 microns, offering a higher level of filtration and engine protection compared to a standard OEM paper filter (typically 10 microns).

Construction: Produced using a "Full Moulding" system that creates a single, durable part with no welded joints, ensuring an optimal and secure fit in the airbox and preventing easy breakage.

Performance: Engineered to deliver increased airflow (reportedly up to +40% more air flow compared to stock paper filters) with minimal pressure loss, which can improve engine efficiency, power, and throttle response.
