BMC Air Filter FM356/01 Ducati

BMC performance engine air filter designed as a replacement for the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) air filter in various Ducati Multistrada and Monster motorcycle models.

Features:

Type: Flat panel replacement air filter.

Material: Made of multi-layered (4 layers) cotton gauze, which is pre-oiled with a low-viscosity oil, and protected by an epoxy-coated alloy mesh to ensure resistance to fuel vapors and oxidation due to air humidity.

Filtration Efficiency: The filter effectively captures impurities as small as 7 microns, offering a higher level of filtration and engine protection compared to a standard OEM paper filter (typically 10 microns).

Construction: Produced using a "Full Moulding" system that enables the characteristic red filter to be realized from a single mold with no welded joints, thus avoiding easy breakage and ensuring an optimal seal within the airbox.

Performance: Engineered to deliver increased airflow (reportedly up to 18.5% higher airflow than conventional paper filters) with minimal pressure loss, which can improve engine efficiency, power, and throttle response.

Maintenance: The filter is washable and reusable, and can be cleaned and regenerated using a specific BMC filter care kit for a long service life, offering long-term economic and environmental benefits over disposable filters.
