Trail-optimized OTX18 damper

Our new 140-mm RXF34 m.2 fork is equipped with the Öhlins OTX18 damper. The OTX18 damper – an offshoot of the successful TTX18 damper found in our downhill and trail forks – brings several winning components from the TTX18 together in a streamlined package. Optimized for faster, more fluid trail riding, the OTX18 design has been carefully refined to minimize friction, giving you a supple initial feel and enhanced small bump sensitivity on a variety of trail surfaces.

Like all Öhlins dampers, the OTX18 boasts an impressive range of adjustment options, with 16 clicks of low-speed compression, 3 clicks of high-speed compression with a pedal platform, and 16 clicks of rebound adjustment. We also offer an extensive, race-proven settings bank to help you achieve your perfect setup.

Lightweight air spring

Paired with the OTX18 damper platform is our robust yet lightweight air spring, which features a positive chamber and a self-adjusting negative chamber. By using our rider-friendly volume spacer system, you can fine-tune the spring curve of the positive chamber to match your exact riding preferences. The negative chamber – designed with speed in mind – delivers a plush initial feel and added small bump sensitivity. Inside the air spring, the seals and surface work to minimize friction and breakaway force for a buttery smooth ride quality.

Race-proven chassis design

Boasting a flex pattern tailored for lightweight, short-travel trail riding, the RXF34 m.2’s ultra-stiff chassis delivers razor-sharp steering precision to inspire rider confidence. The outer tube’s closed-end design not only enhances stiffness and impact resistance but also increases air volume in the lower fork legs, boosting overall performance. The RXF34 m.2 is also equipped with the same race-proven floating axle design used in our downhill forks to reduce friction and further enhance stiffness.
