Arai
MX-V Evo Full Face Helmet
The MX-V evolved from the legendary VX-3 and years of Araiās competition experience can be found in its ultimate MX, Enduro and off-road use helmet. And, while fashions in helmet appearance come and go quickly, the MX-Vās organic R75 shell design exists for the same reasons it is in all Arai helmets: to create a smooth, round shell shape that maintains its integral strength.
The absence of exaggerated edges or protrusions is not a lack of imagination or creativity on Araiās part. Itās because the shape of the helmet works to improve protection. Itās also the reason that the MX-V is the latest Arai to receive ECE R22-06 approval without significant changes.
Priority for Protection:Ā Araiās core design philosophy of producing rounder, stronger and smoother outer shells to improve āGlancing Offā performance is key in this attainment, as is the rigorous in-house criteria process that all Arai helmets must satisfy.
As with each and every Arai, itās the sum of the details coming together to produce an even greater result than their sum that makes the MX-V EVO the benchmark it is.
It starts with a strong outer shell: the PB-CLC2 outer shell is manufactured using a special Z-compound resins, and balanced by a lightweight inner liner for reduced overall weight.
Riding hard in the dirt, ventilation really matters, and the MX-Vās front and rear vents work together to pull cool air through the helmet. The peak too channels airflow in with a design that also reduces lifting. The interior is also fully removable, easy to wash, and adjustable.
The MX-V EVO is Araiās ultimate off-road helmet.
ARAIāS ULTIMATE OFF-ROAD HELMET GAINS ECE R22-06 APPROVAL
Features
- VENTILATIONĀ Riding hard in the dirt, ventilation really matters. Easy to clean diffusers create a strong venturi vacuum at the rear with a centre top vent for increased airflow. Under-peak air intakes collect and direct cool air into the helmet. An inner chin vent shutter prevents debris coming into the helmet in dusty riding conditions. Lower side vents also help with hot air extraction for a cooler ride.Ā
- PB-cLc2 Outer shellĀ (Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate Construction) Araiās Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate Construction greatly increases shell strength and flexibility while maintaining low weight and a lower centre of gravity. Positioned across the top of the eye port, this band contributes to the use of a thinner EPS liner which greatly enhances the upward field of view. A specially designed āmechanically expanded fibre matā, sandwiched between the inner and outer layers of Araiās proprietary Super Fibre Laminates, is used to reinforce and bond these two Super Fibre layers without adding significant weight to the helmet. The latest āZ-Mixtureā resins increases material adhesion requiring less resin for a stronger bond between materials for a thinner and lighter shell.
- Innovative peakĀ The Arai peak scavenges and forces air into the forehead vent ports for cooling while at the same time using multiple relief-ports to reduce āliftingā at higher speeds.
- Mouth ventĀ Mounted from the outside to further improve penetration resistance. The one-piece, stainless steel mesh screen provides a durable barrier against roost while minimizing mud packing. The removable screen is easy to clean.
- Dry-Cool® liner Arai“s Dry-Cool® material transfers heat and moisture away from the rider quickly and efficiently.
-
Goggle band guidanceĀ The eye-opening side trim design combined with the side and rear exhaust vents work to prevent the band from slipping up or down even during hard riding.
Note: All our helmets are purchased directly from Australian supplier and carry the ECE 22.05 or 22.06 standard
