This is an AC-to-DC ignition conversion CDI box. It bypasses the source coil on your stator and powers the ignition system directly from the battery for improved starting, performance, and reliability.
The CDI box installs tightly in the original rubber boot and mounting location.
The connectors plug-in like the OEM. There are different numbers and color wires, but this does not affect operation.
- The original Yellow/Black wire from the vehicle is not used.
- The Orange wire on CDI box provides battery power when the key is on.
- It is connected in between the horn's brown wire, and terminal on the horn.
