BMC Air Filter FM01161 Aprilia

BMC performance engine air filter designed as a replacement for the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) air filter in various Aprilia 660cc motorcycles, notably the Tuareg 660.

Features:

Type: Flat panel replacement air filter.

Material: Made of multi-layered (4 layers) cotton gauze, which is pre-oiled with a low-viscosity oil and inserted between two epoxy-coated alloy mesh structures resistant to oxidation caused by fuel vapors and air humidity.

Filtration Efficiency: The filter guarantees the containment of impurities as small as 7 microns (meeting international standard certificate for ISO5011 filtration), compared to an OEM paper filter's typical 10 microns.

Construction: Produced using a "Full Moulding" system that creates a single, seamless part with no welded joints, ensuring durability and a secure fit in the airbox.

Performance: Engineered to deliver increased airflow (reportedly up to 18.5% higher than conventional paper filters) with minimal power loss, which can improve engine efficiency, power, and throttle response.

Maintenance: The filter is washable and reusable, and can be cleaned and regenerated using a specific BMC regeneration kit, making it a long-lasting and cost-effective option.
