D.I.D's HD chains provide a heavy duty option for smaller bike owners. Like the D chains these are a non O-ring design but still made to D.I.D's exacting standards. If your bike suffers a grinding daily commute the HD chain will give you more durability than the standard D chain giving longer service intervals. Being a non O-ring chain the HD range are suitable for classic applications.
As well as using solid bushing, which can last 1.2 to 4 times as long as chains without, DID's HD Heavy Duty chain features thicker plates than the standard chain, and its tensile strength is roughly 20% higher (than DID Standard).
